Eugene Kang

Eugene Kang is a junior at Harrison High School whose research focuses on harnessing natural compounds derived from plants to fight cancer. His research was the first to establish the anticancer properties of Uvularia Perfoliata, winning him multiple state-level & regional awards. Eugene’s work has been featured by various news outlets, including the Marietta Daily Journal, Fox News, & EIN Presswire. currently, Eugene is studying this plant in further detail at the Winship Cancer Institute.
